Dr. León Benigno Torres Egüez Pharmaceutical Chemical was born in the Village of Daule, Province of Guayas - Ecuador, in 1919.  His mother was a teacher, and his father, a Pharmaceutical Physician, who very early introduces to him in the theory and practical of the masterful formulations of use in the time.

He got graduated in July 1943 and establishes the "Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Federation".
In 1944 begins the “French” drugstore, which was constituted in the first modern drugstore in Guayaquil. 
In 1947, he gets the Pharmaceutical Inspector position in the General Health Direction during three years.
In 1951, he obtains the position of Chemical of the Municipal Laboratory by the lapse of one year.
In 1952, he begins to introduce in the pharmaceutical products manufacture with such success that compels to the Transnational and National Pharmaceutical Laboratories to be gathered to discuss the reasons of the success of the emerging Delta Laboratory.
In 1969, he is nominated Delegate by Industries Chamber of Guayaquil to the 6th. Latin American Congress of Pharmaceutical Industry effected in Caracas Venezuela.
In the year of 1975, he is Delegated by Industry Chamber of Guayaquil before the ALALC with headquarters in Lima, where obtains for his country between other, the grant for the manufacture from “Sorbitol”, industry that is established in Ecuador with success to date.
In 1989, he begins the investigation to develop a remedy for the Psoriasis, disease of the skin that affects to 200 million of persons in the world and for the one which does not exist cure.
Result of that investigation, he obtains in 2002 the approval of his Pharmaceutical specialties:  Soap and Cream EUDERMA, proven its efficiency for the treatment of Psoriasis, Leishmaniasis and other dermal affections as Dermatitis Seborreica and Infectious, Alopecia Areata, Dermatomycosis (fungi).
At present he continues investigating the development (if it's possible) of his pharmaceutical specialties EUDERMA soap and cream already in the Ecuadorian market and the possibility of promoting them at international level.
